Today will be my last day blogging for a week or so, and I am oddly sad to leave it behind.
I enjoy this outlet, the people I follow, and the people who follow me a lot more than I should, perhaps. (Nah, you guys are great and you know it).
Before I go I wanted to share a couple ‘goodbye for a week, my sweet lake’ photos I’ve been working on, as well as leave a few thoughts behind for my readers.
- I feel so lucky to be travelling yet again next week, especially to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and equally as lucky to share the outcome with you all when I return. The Smoky Mountains look so beautiful, I know the hiking and photography will be so amazing, not to mention the family time and chance to expand my travel bureau connections at Ripleys, The Island, and the iconic Ole Smokey Distillery.
- I am still weighing several options of what to do with all these photos, from keeping them as family gifts to trying to make a business out of it. Suggestions, from other photographers who have been there before? Here is my ‘selling site’: Weebly
It doesn’t have most of my most recent, more professional takes, but you get the gist.
- I really, truly, from the bottom of my heart appreciate the follows and feedback on here, my writing, photography, and all around general self-confidence has gone up immensely, so if you are reading this, thank you!
- Last but not least, today is my momma’s birthday, and while she hates the internet and will never get on here and see this in a million years, I wanted to tell the community how much that hippy-loving, kind-souled, master gardening queen means to me.
